If you need to add roll joints to your rig to improve deformation then this is for you.
- Quickly add roll joints to your rig. Add a stable twist setup with a simple user interface.
- Create upper/lower limb twists or a mixture of both for more complex roll setups.
- Build the twist on existing joints if you have an old rig that doesn't interpolate reliably, or if you have a skeleton with skinned roll joints you wish to rig up.
- Build creation process is interactive so you can modify the number of joints and their placement in real time.
- Roll connection process is also non-destructive so you can edit the roll settings without having to delete and rebuild.
- Stores roll information on the skeleton.
- Script friendly, all functions can be controlled outside the UI so the tool can be integrated into your own pipeline.
- Supports multiple axis of rotation, mirrored and non-mirrored skeleton setup. Works with the Ue4 Mannequin skeleton out of the box.
Usage:
- Place the python script file in your maya script folder.
- In Python run the following command,
