tbGimbalTools - Quick and painless rotate order switching for Autodesk Maya 2017+

Quick and easy rotation order swapping/baking and selective euler filter for Autodesk Maya.

There is a hotkey to euler filter only the selected key range - Great for scenes with hard cuts where you don't want to euler the entire timeline.

Comes with a dynamic marking menu showing you the best rotation order for your current frame and quick options for how to process your animation.

Open the UI for more in depth options. The rotate order buttons react to the current selection, showing the amount of gimbal in each rotate order.

Choose between retaining the current keys, adding inbetweens to maintain your animation, or baking on at a specified frame sample.

Queue multiple objects up and bake them all at once using the queue mode.

Tooltips on all buttons for ease of use.

tbAnimTools Installation:

Copy the files from Python2 (maya 2017-2022) into your proApps/Python2 folder

Copy the files from Python3 (2022+) into your proApps/Python3 folder

You will get a license check popup on maya startup - enter your product key and email used for the purchase to generate the license.

Standalone Installation:

Simply extract the zip file to your maya/20xx folder and the scripts/icons will be in the correct place. Then drag install_tbGimbalTools.mel into the viewport to setup the commands and open the UI for the first run.
